On Vinyl helps local businesses and music venues support local musiciansWe want to create a local culture that supports local musicians. Culture is built through creating norms & patterns of behaviors. We want to work with our partners, starting with some of Austin's many music venues, to normalize support of local music by consistently displaying artist merch for sale at our partnering venues.

How it works
ArtistsAt no additional cost to you besides the cost of merch, On Vinyl can create campaigns that center around local artists' upcoming releases, provide exclusive incentives for "super fans," and help artists host listening parties & live shows. We want to help you promote your upcoming music releases & make money selling your merch! Artists may be paired with one or multiple participating venues, depending on the venue's vibe and amount of merch that is available for sale.
|
VenuesWith nothing but a little extra wall space, our partnering music venues and retail stores can support local artists by displaying our artists' merchandise for sale. Not only will venues benefit from a 15% cut of all merch sold and the additional marketing efforts of each of the artists that promote their music, listening parties, and live shows, partnering venues will have the opportunity to show their love for the people that make Austin the Live Music Capital of the World: local musicians.

3 simples steps to help us build a local community that supports local music:
1 |
Sign up as an artist and tell us about your release. We'll be in touch with you shortly!
|
2 |
We'll plan a campaign for your band around your new music release that includes setting up merch displays in a number of venues and hosting listening parties or live performances in promotion of your new music.
|
3 |
Artists keep 70% of all sales made from merchandise sold in partnering venues for the entire campaign, venues keep 15%, and On Vinyl takes a 15% distribution cut.
